You’ll audit a complex taxonomy and find the simplest, most human path through dense legal requirements.

This gig is for the "detectives" of the content world—the designers who won't take a product requirement at face value and will dig until they find the most transparent way forward.

The Details:

  • Contract Type: 1099, fully remote.
  • Duration: Immediate start through the end of the year.
  • Capacity: 40 hours per week.
  • Level: Senior (5–9 years experience).

What You'll Do:

  • Tame Global KYC: Optimize existing "Know Your Customer" flows and craft proactive communications that keep our hosts verified and legal across the planet.
  • Architect AI Logic: Design and refine how our AI customer support agents handle sensitive compliance use cases—shaping step-by-step instructions and rules governing live-agent escalation. 
  • Partner with Legal: Uncover what’s really required, finding common ground with cross-functional teams to ensure our copy remains transparent and clear.
  • Build Brand Love: Translate rigid legal mandates into emotive, meaningful product experiences that build trust with our community.

We're Looking for Someone with:

  • The Experience: 5–9 years of content design or UX writing experience, ideally navigating the high-stakes world of fintech, payments, or insurance.
  • Systems-Level Thinking: You don’t just write labels; you solve complex technical challenges by understanding how one requirement impacts the entire ecosystem.
  • Technical Diplomacy: You speak the language of regulators and lawyers but can break it down so the rest of us actually know what’s going on.
  • Investigative Curiosity: You have a track record of uncovering requirements and not stopping until the solution is user-centric.
  • The Signature Skill: Bulletproof writing and editing skills are non-negotiable.
  • Portfolio: Please share a portfolio of recent work that shows us how you simplify the complex.
